FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q. Why do I need a Private Investigator?
A. Finding yourself accused of criminal or civil wrongdoing can be one of the most terrifying and unnerving moments of your life. You need to be certain that all of the facts, intelligence, and evidence pertinent to your case is sought after with due diligence and resolve. Citadel Private Investigators are committed to finding the truth, no matter where it leads.
Most State appointed attorneys (Public Defenders) will also be approved for funds for a Private Investigator when they are assigned to defend an individual/defendant. Not all may use them, but Private Investigators can be a huge asset in turning up evidence (e.g. Photographic, Written, Recorded, or Verbal) that many Law Enforcement agencies cannot.
Most witnesses / victims are too afraid and uncomfortable to speak candidly with Law Enforcement representatives; even if the information they can provide is critical to the case of a friend or loved one. Citadel Private Investigators will work hard to obtain the information others don't.
Q. What can I expect from a basic background check?
A. A basic background investigation can confirm the existence and/or validity of the following types of personal information: SSN, Dept. of License history, pending or past civil suits, prior convictions, employment history, previous addresses, family history, bankruptcies/judgments, child support responsibilities, personal references, education, and more.
Q. What kind of "hidden fees" can I expect to incur?
A. Citadel Investigations has no "hidden fees". Our representatives will be up front, forthright, and honest with you from the initial contact all the way through to job completion. All consultations and quotes are given directly and candidly during initial client contact so you know precisely what financial obligations you will be responsible for.
Most of our basic services are charged at the flat rate of $65.00 per man hour. Some clients may be charged for "mileage" due to the location of the job and/or the necessity for extensive traveling outside of the Central Washington / Columbia Basin area plus any additional applicable expenses accrued during the course of the investigation.
Q. How do I pay for services?
A. Citadel Investigations accepts cash, personal checks, and/or purchase orders. An initial "retainer/deposit" is required for most services. A generic contract can be sent to you for review, prior to any commitment or obligation being made.
